Event Details:

In Spring 2024, Asahi Kasei Corporation 
announced plans to construct a new
lithium-ion battery separator manufacturing 
facility in Port Colborne. The company officially 
broke ground on the project last November and 
construction and hiring is currently underway.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Asahi Kasei 
team is hosting a drop-in style event to share 
additional information about the project with 
the local community.
