Canadian Public Library Month Contest
September 15 to October 18
October is Canadian Public Library Month and to celebrate the library is hosting a “Spooky Story” contest! Submit your “Spooky Story” to the library by 5pm on October 18th. Stories must be original and include the child’s first name, and the parent/guardian contact info. The stories will be judged by library staff and the authors of the favourite stories will be asked to read their stories aloud at our “Spooky Story” program on October 30th!

IAMINUK Part 2: Make a Sealskin Bracelet

Cindy Biancaniello, Elder Anauta ᐊᓇᐅᑕ, teaches participants how to sew a traditional sealskin bracelet in this hands-on workshop about the importance of the seal hunt in Inuit culture.
For adults ages 18+.
