Please join us to celebrate the opening of the 2024 shipping season!

The Top Hat Ceremony will be held on Friday, Mar. 22, 2023, at Lock 8 Gateway Park (163 Mellanby Avenue, Port Colborne), hosted by Mayor William C. Steele, along with representatives from upper levels of government and the marine industry. Complimentary breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. provided by the Port Colborne’s Fair-Trade Committee, and will include a pancake breakfast with hot chocolate, tea and coffee. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.
